Incoming and Outgoing: What is Coming to and Leaving RMK MS North?
The holidays may be over, but the RMK MS North Yard is livelier than ever with superyachts and mega yachts flowing in and out of the yard. The RMK MS Marketing Team recently sat down with RMK MS North Project Manager Brent Allsop to discuss what’s coming in and out of the North Yard.
The RMK MS North Yard is fully operational, and features our newly commissioned 2,700MT Pearlson shiplift, which is capable of full keel capture. To schedule your visit to RMK MS North, contact us today here.
Incoming: What is Coming to RMK MS North?
The following vessels are all expected to visit the RMK MS North Yard for service in January:
• Legend II
Legend II, a 180’ Landing Craft, has just arrived at the North Yard. The RMK MS North Team is partnering with Datum Rotating Machinery Services, Hartmann Bros Marine, KPT Marine, and Mesa Marine. Shortly after the new year begins, Utopia IV, a 207’ 2018 Rossinavi motor yacht, will arrive at the North Yard. Outgoing: What is Leaving RMK MS North?
It’s a bittersweet feeling to see superyachts leave the North Yard. We take pride in knowing the vessel has been well cared for and delivered on time back to their owner, and look forward to seeing it again while saying goodbye for now. Vessels that have recently left the yard include:
• Lumiere II: A 204-foot 2010 Benetti left after receiving a new coat of bottom paint, deck targeting, Propspeed, driveline inspection, and welding and fabrication. Datum Rotating Machinery Services and KPT Marine partnered with the RMK MS North Team on this project.
• C-Star: A 197-foot 2006 Lurssen motor yacht recently returned to its owner after receiving deck targeting, bottom paint, Propspeed, driveline inspections, paint repairs, and carpentry work. Datum Rotating Machinery Services and Smooth Sailing assisted the RMK MS North Team in completing these tasks.
• Rhino: A 154’ 1998 Admiral Yacht that received valve and thru-hull replacement for RINA Class with the help of American Marine Mechanics and laminate and paint from the RMK MS North Team.
• Skyfall: A gorgeous 190’ 2010 Trinity recently departed the yard after receiving welding work and fabrication from KPT Marine, davit repairs and load testing with the help of CCS C-Systems Hydraulics, and tank works from Coastal Tank.
