RMK Merrill-Stevens Bringing Significant Presence, Excitement to FLIBS 2022

(MIAMI, FLORIDA) Historic Miami shipyard RMK Merrill-Stevens (RMK MS) is bringing a significant presence and excitement to the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), October 26-30. “FLIBS is one of our favorite shows and presents a unique and unmatched experience for our company and team,” says RMK MS CEO Greg Cox. “Our company has never had more to share and more to offer as a premier shipyard and service provider,” he continues.

Greg and the RMK MS team are amid their busiest time in years. The RMK MS Superyacht Center, formerly known as the North Yard, is currently occupied by three superyachts, including a passenger ferry, with two additional superyachts on deck to receive major repairs.

The shipyard will exhibit at the Bahia Mar location of FLIBS in the Yacht Builders Tent in Booth #715. Participants will include RMK Merrill-Stevens Superyacht Project Managers and team members, South Yard Project Managers and team members, the Accounting Department, Human Resources, Service Leads, Paint Leads, and others. Greg and others are prepared to discuss the company’s processes, share information about partnerships and work environment, and detail career opportunities and current needs.  Job applicants will be able to drop off their resume at the booth. RMK MS is also planning several giveaways at the booth, including gear packs and branded merchandise, discounts, and more.

Members of RMK MS sister company Merrill-Stevens Yachts (MSY) will also attend the show. MSY offers lightly used yachts and superyachts and new yachts and superyachts, including Sealine and Pardo vessels, through their yacht brokerage. MSY Brokers, who are also experienced Captains, Robert, Don, Carlouis, and Rich will be at the show to discuss available brokerage vessels, incoming Sealine models, Pardo yachts, and their new and exciting partnership with the boat-builder behind “the best riding boat on the water,” Twin Vee. The MSY team will also discuss the benefits of selling a yacht through Merrill-Stevens Yachts with the help of RMK Merrill-Stevens. The partnership between the two brands allows owners to have their vessel repaired, maintained, or refit while a sale is in process.

Chris and Brayden Brittain from the RMK Graphics Division of the company will also be on-hand. RMK MS Graphics offers vessel and vehicle graphic wrapping, large format printing and signage, including exhibit banner stands, booth printing, custom metal signs, and more. To inquire about RMK MS Graphics services, call Chris Brittain at 503-481-8109 or email Chris@rmkms.com.

Also exhibiting with RMK Merrill-Stevens will be representatives from partners V-KOOL of Florida, including Scott Frischhertz, and Datum Rotating Machinery Services (DATUM RMS) President Andrew Lynskey. When asked what he’s most looking forward to at FLIBS, Andrew says, “The chance to solidify existing relationships,  build new ones, and network with peers.”  Andrew says he is excited to meet clients, discuss their needs and upcoming projects, and detail what the company has been up to.
