RMK Merrill-Stevens Announces New Hires, Hiring Campaign

Located on the Miami River, full-service shipyard RMK Merrill-Stevens is renovating and rebuilding both the North and South shipyards as part of a $25M investment in the company. The investment will create approximately 100 new jobs now open to applicants at the historic shipyard known for superyacht repairs, maintenance, and refit.

RMK Merrill-Stevens has built a corporate culture centered around honesty, quality and integrity, which has established the company as a leader in yacht refit and repair and made the shipyard one of the most desirable marine industry companies to work for in the state of Florida.

New hires will receive competitive compensation, healthcare benefits, training, growth opportunities, and the rewarding opportunity to become part of the growing RMK Merrill-Stevens team. All applicants are required to provide work history, relevant qualifications, prove eligibility to work in the U.S., and take a drug test.

In addition to hiring new employees, RMK Merrill-Stevens recently celebrated existing members of their team during an employee celebration that included staff from both the North and South shipyards. The event featured company updates, anniversaries, new hires and more. “We brought the entire team together to engage employees in our growth and let them know what is going on behind the scenes,” says CEO Aaron Leatherwood. “Celebrating where we have come from and the accomplishments of our employees, new and experienced, is vital to our future success.”

Among the more than 20 employees celebrating recent anniversaries at the company are three members of the team who have reached 9 years of employment at RMK Merrill-Stevens, including Marlin Nunez, Stephen Tiralla and Rail Ortega.
